MEET ALLISON VANKIRK
Hi! I’m Allison and my husband and I along with our 5 kids, 2 dogs, and 2 cats moved to Gulf Breeze a little over a year ago from north of Atlanta. Two of our children were in first grade at Coastline Christian Academy last year, and I really enjoyed volunteering as a parent and getting to know the teachers, students, and families. I am really excited to partner up with the same first grade teaching team that my own children got to know and love last year. We will have 3 of our children at CCA this year with our youngest daughter learning in VPK!
I have taught children for over 20 years in many different settings: coaching gymnastics from toddlers to teens, lead teaching 6th and 7th graders in a Christian classroom, one-on-one daily private tutoring for preschoolers to high school graduation, teaching enrichment days to first and second graders, substitute teaching from kindergarten to eighth grade in a Christian school, volunteering in children’s ministry at church, and supporting ESL students living in China with weekly one-on-one tutoring as they take their online English courses with native English speakers.
My favorite moments with kids is watching them have aha moments and the joy on their faces when they are proud of themselves! I am looking forward to getting to know your sweet children this year—they are so loved already!
